Activities There's so much to see and do in Yellowstone Country. Click for Yellowstone Activity Guide Yellowstone National Park, Teton National Park and the surrounding National Forests provide days of adventure with nature. The IMAX Theatre, the Grizzly Discovery Center, where you can see real wolves and bears, the numerous galleries and the great shopping add interest to a day or two of refreshing relaxation. Allow two days to see the most famous of Yellowstone's features; add a third to view the magnificent Tetons. The "road less travelled", depending on the season, can include the two old gold mining towns of Nevada and Virginia cities in Montana, the 1959 Earthquake site, Red Rocks Game Refuge, Mesa Falls, and Wade and Cliff Lakes. You get the idea--you'll run out of time before you run out of places.   Click for Snowmobile Packages We particularly want to tell you about winter--a truly magnificent season in Yellowstone Country. From mid-December to early March Yellowstone is open to over-the-snow vehicles and to cross-country skiers. Areas west of Yellowstone are open to winter enthusiasts from mid-November through the end of March. It's such a special time to be here--our guests return year after year. If you've never visited in the winter, plan to come this year.
